Hi ya'll, just curious, anyone know Andrea Attwool from NSW, or went to Orchard End Equestrian Centre? I used to lease a horse from there, just wondering if anyone else on here went there?

OK this is how it is. I really have no idea what you guys are talking about I don't know her that well. Have had lessons there but have nothing to compare it to as I have not had lessons anywhere else. My private inbox is provided please email me and let me know what your opinion is. I am curious, definatley don't want a disagreement over the matter. Just want to make sure my money is being well spent.

Yeah, I had lesson with her for years, back when I was a teenager about 8yrs ago. I mostly had riding in group lessons which Andrea didnt always teach, but when I did have her I found her to be good. She has great facilities. I was there when she was just putting up her indoor arena out in the x-country paddock. Have heard though from talking to other people later on when I had stoped going there that they were not happy with Andrea as she seemed to only want to teach you so much as she didnt want anyone being a better rider than she was,and things were getting a little nasty. They had also told me to not go there again. But like all places I guess there is the good and the bad... Hard to find a perfect one..unless there is someting seriously wrong !

Hi there, Have been riding with orchard end equestrian centre for a couple of years now.You should be ashamed if you are bad mouthing them because everyone has different ways to teach different things.Andrea Attwool is a hard working lady who likes to teach for people to learn.If you dont like the way she is teaching find a new place and keep your mouth shut and your fingers off the keyboard because its not fair to diss other peoples hard work.she is there all day every day looking after 30 horses and improving peoples riding skills.Dont take this as an offence please i just dont like to hear about how she is no good.because i think she is terrific. As for her not wanting to be out ridden by someone else..i hardly think anyone could she has been competing for many years and has won many a trophies and ribbons.Sure sometimes she does come across cold but she is a person too. <what2do> - was looking to lease a horse..would you be able to give me more info??

Well, frankly maybe you should also keep your opinions to yourself then. I have actually seen andrea out competing, and lets just say sometimes it aint that hard to win a ribbon!
Everyone should be allowed to voice their opinion, and I am afraid I cannot agree with you, if you think she is terrific, good on you, you are entitled to your opinion, but we don't have to agree and should also be allowed the same courtesy of voicing our opinions.
Just because someone has ribbons and trophies does not make them a good rider or a good instructor.

WOW!! I was just googling for a website for andrea and came across this. I used to have lessons with andrea at warners bay, before she moved to black hill. That was 27 years ago. I forget how many years i was under her instruction and although I found her to be tough, she was also very fair and a terrific horsewoman. I compete now doing western pleasure classes and am thrilled to say that my hunter classes are awesome and I remember much of what andrea taught me all those years ago. Needless to say I credit much of my winning and placing to her. If anyone here sees andrea, please pass on my best wishes and regards. I have been trying to call her mobile number with little success. Dannii is my real btw.

Your impressed with Andrea looking after 30 horses a day, from what i've seen, full credit to the poor little 12yr olds working for her.
I not only ride 17 horses a day but look after all my young stock all 60 of them yep thats right. I have a groom or 2 of course for when I go to train with Ulla/compete at WEG etc etc.

Yes i'm back early because one of my grand prix horses injured itself very badly and being one of my favorite horses i had to come home to see how he was.
I do hope that my student doesn't come on here other wise thats $200 less a week for me!!!!!! but i do have like 69 people on waiting lists so i think i'm pretty safe what ever way it goes.
And if Andria was the only one in the class i bet they would give her like third placed ribbons rather then first!!!!!!!!! And any trophies that she probbably has she would have ordered them in to make her look good!!!!!!!!!
unfortunatly yes he will be out of action for quite some time and i'm very dissapionted as state and nationals are comeing up and he will not be able to compete. but i have my other horses so i'm still going to have a few rides and i'm garunted a place so that makes it a bit better.
About you being GUARANTEED a placing, i'm sure you will place, but a placing is all you'll be getting, because all the first places and champions are GUARANTEED to go to ME!

I own 200 horses and ride 50 a day. I charge $500 a leeson and have a 5 page waiting list. I also just got back from the WEG where I competed in Dressage, Sj, eventing and endurance. I won them all except the jumping as I only came second there because i was distracted by Brad Pitt throwing himself at my divine body.
Have you looked at your hands lately as they must be covered in alot of callouses. The only things you have been schooling lately is your own tiny weeny penises.

My hands have NO callouses, as ALL of my horses are very well schooled, thus being extremely light. (something you'd know nothing about!)
You are doing well getting $500 a lesson, considering my good mate Heath Ryan only charges $110. My student and I were commenting on one of my students clients making $200 out of one particular student of hers, but she ment $200 over a whole week!
I distinctly recall Australia not winning ANY gold medals (sad but true) So it is interesting that you did so well.....infact no country placed consistantly over the 3 disciplines! hmmmmmmm.
Just because we are VERY, VERY sucessful riders/trainers does not mean that we are "making things up" maybe a tall story or two but no lies. So maybe next time before you open your "pie hole" so to speak, you should think twice, you dickhead!

hey guys i just had a laugh about what i just read. because truly orchard end is great and its fun and one of the really good things is it is cheap and it has howjumping and cross-country unlike most equestrian centers ooh and it isnt muddy like some aswell. and in fact i think the only reason andrea seems so mad is because she cares about the horses and wants to stick it into our minds how to look after them correctly right she has two great instructors one whom she taught herself and regularily competes on her fantastic horse. while the other has only been there for a while but is really good too. so i think you guys who have been 'dissing' her should go there and check it out even if you are posh and boastfull! it is absolutely great and i love it and the horses!!!

Yeh, Bianca is the only faithful one that would stay with her. regardless of her riding skills HA HA HA She has no people skills and when was the last time anyone has seen her teaching a class or looking after her horses it is more the point of those poor young women that she so call pays that does all the work talk about slave labor. Has anybody ever ask for an instructor's certificate to be shown from other instructors other than the owner herself also the safety issue how long has it been since the riding gear has been up dated ? It would be a good riding school in the hands of a better person that actually has an interest in her business I think she has out worn her abilities. Do your self a favor and go to a safe riding school with an owner that really cares about how you advance in your riding.it's the people that make the place happy not the running of it

Yes I have been to Andreas its just a run down little old riding school. With a bad reputation you do not tell people that you went to learn to ride at that place. I am at another riding school now its great.

Although i rode there in my younger years and it was terrible and i wouldnt go back as the amount of work i had to do as opposed to riding was rediculous....i have to admit i did have fun there. Not because of Andrea as such but just the friends i made etc.
