Lindsay Park Classic Collection on April 30 2002 featured a dispersal of Lindsay Park
broodmares and weanlings. The
highest priced lot of the sale was Biscay Bird who was sold for $825,000 becoming the
second highest priced broodmare ever sold at public auction in Australia and clearly the
highest ever sold in South Australia.

Lot 21 weanling Favorite Trick -
Screen Star

This bay filly is a member of the first crop of Australian
bred progeny of Favorite Trick. Favorite Trick is a US bred near black son of Phone Trick
who was voted US horse of the year in 1997 winning 8 races as a 2yo including the Breeders
Cup Juvenile. His overseas progeny are already showing promise. Sceen Star is by Marauding
from A Star Is Born and is the dam of one foal who is a 2yo winner this season. Purchased
by Peter Devitt of Victoria this filly was purchased for $80,000.
Lot 28 weanling Rory's Jester - Tale
of Silence

A chestnut filly by champion sire Rory's Jester this foal
is from the Luskin Star mare Tale of Silence who has produced two winners including Tale
of Triomphe, the winner of five races. The third dam of this filly is Padami Miss dam of
Beach Gown who in turn produced stakeswinners Wrap Around and Rose of Danehill. She was
purchased by Neil Jenkinson of Queensland for $80,000.
Lot 38 weanling Flying Spur -
Angelic Smile

Sired by Golden Slipper winning Flying Spur this bay colt
is from Angelic Smile a sister to stakeswinner Russian Caravan. He was purchased by
Belmont Bloodstock Agency for $100,000.
Lot 54 weanling Flying Spur - Dewana

The top priced weanling was this bay colt from proven
broodmare Dewana. She has produced three foals to race for three winners including the
stakesplaced Barawana. Purchased for $120,000 this colt is heading to a new home at
Riverslea Farm in New South Wales.
Lot 69 weanling Danzero - Jiddah

Another purchased by Neil Jenkinson this brown colt stopped
the bidding at $90,000. By Danzero who has also sired Fairway, All Courage, Danglissa,
Kingsgate etc, he is from the Euclase mare Jiddah. This is her first foal and Jiddah is a
half sister to Reigning Belle their grand dam being Martelomeo dam of stakeswinner
Danaides and stakesplaced Ansami.
Lot 70 weanling Scenic - Key Target

This bay colt is by Scenic, the sire of Universal Prince,
Lochrae, Shame, Episode etc, from the Serheed mare Key Target a stakeswinner whose oldest
foal is now a yearling. He was purchased for $100,000 by Graeme Bignell.
