29/01/02 Hero's Brother Knocked Down for $200,000
The full brother to one of New Zealand's evergreen Group One winners has been sold for $200,000 during the early stages of the second session of the Premier Yearling Sale at Karaka in New Zealand today.

The yearling, a chestnut colt by the underrated local sire Deputy Governor, was offered by Jim Campin's Cambridge based Chequers Stud as lot 103.

The colt's famous full brother is the Two Thousand Guineas and Auto Auctions WFA Stakes winner (Kiwi) Hero.

Domino, the dam, is a dual Oaks winner in New Zealand and Sydney and she has also produced the Deputy Governor filly Dominant, who is a stakes placed performer in New Zealand.

The colt is closely related to the stakes winning stars Bayremah, Super Natural, Sale of Century, Top of the Pops, Veloso and (Our) Westminster.
