The Brian Mayfield-Smith trained Rubitano will start the warm favourite after his impressive first up win in the recent Sir John Monash Stakes.

Set to clash with Rubitano are the handy performers Sports, Dash for Cash, Windigo, Dandy Kid, Regal Shot and Ruby Slipper.

Rubitano will jump from barrier two, immediately on the outside of Sports who drew barrier one for John Hawkes and Darren Gauci.
