Storm Cat, the
sire of upcoming Windsor Park Stud shuttle Black Minnaloushe, has been represented by his
100th individual stakes winner.
It came
when last years record priced Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Van
Nistelrooy (Storm Cat-Halory by Halo) kept his unbeaten record intact with a narrow win in
the Tyros Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.
The 6.4 million Van Nistelrooy denied Coolmore Studs
English 2000 Guineas (G1) winner King Of Kings (Sadlers Wells) with his first stakes
winner when he defeated Etruscan King (King Of Kings-Nice Dancing by Bering) by a head.
