| The Yarradale
Stud Dispersal in Western Australia is set to take place on Sunday August 18th. Located on OBrien Road, Gidgegannup, off Toodyay Road and only
20 minutes from the city, Yarradale will be the focus of attention from the thoroughbred
industry when they conduct their Unreserved Dispersal Sale.
A parade of the studs resident stallions will commence
proceedings at midday.
Champion sires Euclase and Citidancer, together with rising
star Pricelessly will "strut their stuff" along with new kids on the block,
Seignorial and Medal Of Honour.
With the stud reverting to a stallion station operation,
shares in each of the stallions will be available to breeders by auction. The opportunity
to purchase a lifetime breeding right in any of these outstanding credentialed sires at a
possibly heavily discounted price should certainly be an attraction.
The unreserved dispersal of yearlings and broodmares is
scheduled to commence at 1pm and will represent an opportunity to secure some real
thoroughbred bargains.
Yearlings by resident stallions Pricelessly, Euclase and
Citidancer will be offered together with progeny by Bletchley Park, General Monash and
Favorite Trick.
The brown colt by Favorite Trick, Lot 29, is likely to be
one of the standouts of the sale.
His sire is one of the only two horses to be named USA
Horse of the Year as a two year old and his foals have been in great demand on the East
Coast.
His dam won on three occasions and has already produced the
Group 2 placed Sengiggi Beach who won 3 races herself as a 2 year old.
Convenient Woman is probably the highlight of a very strong
group of mares to be offered. By Sunline's damsire, Western Symphony, this young mare was
a five time winner earning almost $100,000 and will produce an early October foal to
champion sire Citidancer.
Other well performed racemares include the stakes placed
Nappe who was an Ascot 2 year old winner by many lengths, the Group 3 VATC Dalgety stakes
winner Tessuit, the Caulfield two year old winner Mars Queen as well as multiple winners
Late At Night, Happy Go Lucky, Curra Wonder, Success, Snipping, Often etc.
Group performers Family Pak and It Sure Is are examples of
quality mares in foal to Kingmambos exciting son Seignorial who attracted an
outstanding book of mares in his first season including a number from the state's most
astute breeder, Neville Duncan.
This sale is one not to be missed by anyone looking to
enter the thoroughbred industry in an affordable way. The market will certainly head north
over the next couple of years and purchasers at this sale will definitely be the
beneficiaries. |
