entries for the Magic Millions August Mixed Sale to be held this Sunday at the Gold Coast
Sale Centre have been extensive. In addition to the
152 catalogued lots, 30 supplementary lots will go through the ring including racing
and/or breeding proposition a mare by Flying Spur out of a half-sister to Lusso (5 wins
inc. VATC Debutante S Gr.3) and Laranto (4 wins inc. VATC Autumn S Gr.3).
Also in the supplementary is Princess Del Sole (the dam of
Delsole [5 wins inc. VATC JJ Liston S Gr.2]) covered by the Queensland Sire Sensation Lion
Hunter - the sire of the outstanding filly Lovely Jubly.
The Rory’s Jester mare Smiles will be offered for
sale, she is out of the stakes-placed Lumiere.
Smiles is a half-sister to Noble Clubs (15 wins inc. QTC
Sir Byrne Hart S Gr.3) and Top Up (the dam of St Covet [Head of the Australasian 2YO
Classification 1993-94 – 9
wins inc. AJC Sires’ Produce S Gr.1]).
A draft of quality mares on account of Lyndhurst Stud will
be offered.
This draft includes mares in foal to the son of Danehill in
Irish Royal. These mares are by popular broodmare sires in Quest For Fame, Star Way,
Imposing, Centaine, Hennessy, Encosta De Lago, Grand Lodge and Canny Lad, etc.
