| The fourth
BOBS bonus was paid out yesterday when the exciting Takas (by Quest For Fame) scored
first-up at Canterbury Park. Takas added another
$10,000 bonus for his owners in winning Race 3, after he had bungled the start.
Takas joined Mystical Lad (by Canny Lad), Cataclysm
(Marauding) and Durrah (Langfuhr), as BOBS bonus winners - pushing the total payout in
BOBS' first week to $40,000.
And there could be more to come at Hawkesbury today, with 8
horses each competing for a $5,000 BOBS bonus.
They are:
Race 2: BOLD POLITICIAN, GO MIST.
Race 3: WIDE AWAKE, FINEST JEWEL, PLUMS.
Race 4: NATURALLY.
Race 7: ZAROUK, ADVENTUROUS ROSE.
BOBS is open to NSW-trained three-year-olds whose sire is
among the 43 stallions nominated for the scheme.
Racehorse nominations for BOBS close on Monday, 30
September 2002. Should you own a racehorse which turned three on 1st August 2002, there is
an excellent chance your galloper is eligible for BOBS - the exciting NSW bonus scheme.
BOBS is the Breeder Owner Bonus Scheme which pays lucrative
dollars on top of the normal prizemoney. Go into our special BOBS section on our home page
and check out the 43 stallions nominated. If the sire of your three-year-old appears, you
can pay a nomination fee ($660 including GST) and you're off and running to win some
serious dollars.
