18/01/02 Race on For Adelaide Classic
The race for a berth in the $400,000 Adelaide Magic Millions 2YO Classic will strike another level when the $40,200 Feltex Queen Adelaide Stakes in held at Cheltenham Park tomorrow.

Seven of the field - We Will Rock You, Orrong, Flawed Logic, Red Labelle, Rachael's Pride, Halo Amore and Madutina - are all eligible to run in the Classic next month.

While Flawed Logic, Red Labelle and We Will Rock You have virtually booked their places, connections of the other four runners will be hoping to earn prizemoney in tomorrow's listed event.

Madutina, who failed on debut in the Dequetteville Stakes last year, is an interesting runner having bolted in with a recent 1100 metre barrier trial at Cheltenham. The well bred Made of Gold filly is one of two runners for Murray Bridge based Mick Huxtable. Halo Amore, the other Huxtable runner, is like Madutina looking for a stakes boost in a quest for the Magic Millions.

Orrong, who ran fourth in the Fulham Park Plate on debut for Dan O'Sullivan, and Rachael's Pride, who placed in the Dequetteville Stakes for Joe Hall, make up the seven Millions acceptors.

Meanwhile, interest will also be high in both Victoria and New South Wales over the weekend with three potential runners set to start.

The Lee Freedman trained Trojan Warrior will be having his first run at Sandown on Saturday while the Graeme Rogerson trained Punnets Lane and the Gai Waterhouse runner Pine Ridge are both set to start at Hawkesbury on Sunday.
