TRACK: GOOD

NT 1: OPEN HANDICAP 1200 METRES 7 STARTERS

BINOCULARS (S Burrows) jumped outwards as start affected. Jockey G LEFOE reported to Stewards that his mount DANAPAC was inclined to hang out throughout the race. ELUSIVE EXPRESS (M Cornell) raced very wide throughout the race.

1ST BINOCULARS 2ND FACTORWAY 3RD MR. CENTREFOLD

NT 2: CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1400 METRES 6 STARTERS

Jockey P JOHNSON replaced B CORNELL as the rider of FERNDALE (NZ) when B CORNELL stated that he had not been engaged for the horse. Shortly after the start the saddle on FERNDALE (NZ) shifted and P JOHNSON the rider of the horse was placed at a disadvantage throughout the race. Jockey B HUPPATZ rider of FOREVER JUDE accidentally dropped his whip at about the 200 metre mark.

1ST STAR DAMSEL 2ND FOREVER JUDE 3RD ROCKHOUND

NT 3: MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 7 STARTERS

SARASON’S GIRL (S Burrows) stood flat footed as start effected loosing about 2 lengths. CENTRE STORM (T Gillett) jumped outwards at the start forcing KELTIC KID (B Huppatz) onto CENTRESTAD (G Lefoe). CENTRE MUSIC (M Cornell) jumped inward as start effected coming into contact with CENTRESTAD (G Lefoe). CENTRE MUSIC (M Cornell) shied outward suddenly about 20 metres from the winning post.

1ST CRYSTAL SHINE 2ND WHIP AROUND 3RD ANNABEL JANE

NT 4: CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1100 METRES 10 STARTERS

CENTRE STORM (T Gillett) shifted out sharply at about the 200 metre mark clipping the heels of BAGS NOT (B Cornell). Jockey T GILLETT was severely reprimanded for the incident and was informed by Stewards that much stronger action will be taken in future. REGENCY OF MARAIS (H Gower) had difficulty in obtaining a run in the straight.

1ST DUAL RULER 2ND CONCENTO 3RD ALKANZA

All winners were swabbed. 1 Bookmaker in attendance.

FINES

Jockey B HUPPATZ was fined the sum of $50 under ARR8 – Fail to obey a direction of an official.

Trainer K LAMPRECHT was fined the sum of $50 under NT56 – Fail to lodge a completed Stable Return for WHIP AROUND.
