TRACK: GOOD

NT 1: MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS

CENTRE DANCER (T Huish) jumped in the air as start effected coming into contact with SARASON’S GIRL (P Johnson). CENTRESTAD (D Foster (A)) shifted in slightly and MR. SOUL (P Denton) shifted out slightly 20 metres from the Winning Post.

1ST CENTRE DANCER 2ND CENTRESTAD 3RD MR. SOUL

NT 2: 2YO HANDICAP 1000 METRES 12 STARTERS

At approximately the 800 metre mark EDGE TO EDGE (P Denton), NORTH RAIL (T Huish) and KENNY’S IDOL (T Gillett) all were racing greenly and shifting ground. As a result CROWN PACIFIC (D Lockwood (A)) who was racing behind these horses was hampered. An Inquiry into the incident found that it was a result of inexperienced 2 year olds racing very greenly. No action was taken by Stewards.

1ST SPUNKIE 2ND KINGSFOLD FLAME 3RD EDGE TO EDGE

NT 3: CLASS D HANDICAP 1600 METRES 7 STARTERS

No race incidents.

1ST BURRAN 2ND SUPER DAMAH 3RD TIEPOLO (NZ)

NT 4: CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1100 METRES 11 STARTERS

Just after the start ARMWAY (A Groves) attempted to buck and then attempted to jump the running rail resulting in Jockey A GROVES being injured and conveyed to hospital. An Inquiry into the incident will be held when Jockey A GROVES is well enough to give evidence. No other race incidents.

1ST HIGHER POWER 2ND WOUNDS 3RD GONG NAPAR

NT 5: CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 12 STARTERS

SUPER HENRY (D Bates) and BE STRONG (B Cornell) came together as start effected. AWESOME DIAMOND (P Denton) jumped outwards onto GARLANDTOWN MOON (P Johnson). BE STRONG (B Cornell) was inclined to over race approaching the 600 metre mark and had to be eased off the heels of AWESOME DIAMOND (P Denton).

1ST COVER GAL 2ND BORDER 3RD STAR DAMSEL

NT 6: OPEN HANDICAP 1200 METRES 12 STARTERS

No race incidents.

1ST IMPOSING KEN 2ND PIM 3RD ZILLIONAIRE

Race 3: BURRAN, SATYR KING pre-race swabbed.

All winners were swabbed.
