WEATHER: OVERCAST
TRACK: GOOD

NT 1: OPEN HANDIAP 1000 METRES 5 STARTERS

Jockey G LEFOE rider of PADARICO was permitted by Stewards to ride 1kg overweight when no suitable replacement rider was available. BINOCULARS (S Burrows) slow to begin. ST. MILLI (B Cornell) shifted outwards at about the 200 metre mark FACTORWAY (P Johnson) was inclined to shift inwards for the last 50 metres of the race. P JOHNSON was informed by Stewards that he must endeavour to keep his mounts on a straight course at all times.

1ST FACTORWAY 2ND ST. MILLI 3RD BINOCULARS

NT 3: MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200 METRES 6 STARTERS

KELTIC KID (B Huppatz) jumped outwards. SUPER DAMAH (T Norton) jumped inward as start effected resulting in CENTRESTAD (T Gillett) having to be eased. CENTRESTAD (T Gillett) raced greenly in the straight. BINGO BREN (S Burrows) shifted inwards in the last 50 metres of the race. On return to the enclosure it was observed that CENTRESTAD had cast its offside hind plate.

1ST SUPER DAMAH 2ND STORMY BAY 3RD BINGO BREN

NT 5: CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 7 STARTERS

Jockey H GOWER replaced jockey P JOHNSON as the rider of CENTER STORM when that rider was overweight. No action was taken agains jockey P JOHNSON as he was unaware that he had been engaged for CENTRE STORM. FERNDALE (NZ) (B Huppatz) jumped outward as start effected forcing TARLAN (B Cornell) onto GOLD BATTLER (T Gillett. Momentarily inconveniencing those horses. CENTRE STORM (H Gower) dwelt as start effected losing about 2 lengths. CENTRE STORM came into contact with the running rail at about the 500 metre mark. On return to the enclosure it was observed that KOTARA had cast its offside hind plate.

1ST STAR DAMSEL 2ND GOLD BATTLER 3RD FROZE

NT 7: CLASS D HANDICAP 1100 METRES 7 STARTERS

TIEPOLO (NZ) (T Gillett) jumped in the air as start effected. It was observed on return to the enclosure that ALKANZA had cast its nearside front plate and also its offside hind plate.

1ST ALKANZA 2ND KOTARA 3RD LUCKY LAURA

All winners were swabbed.
