RACE 1: CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 9 STARTERS

ACHTUNG MAYBE (B Huppatz) jumped outwards as start effected inconveniencing CANTABILE (D Oakford (a)). YELLOW CARD (B Cornell) shifted inwards at about the 200 metre mark coming in contact with DAVE’S CHANCE (T Huish). Jockey B CORNELL, rider of YELLOW CARD was warned by Stewards that he must take greater care when shifting ground in future.

1ST RULANA 2ND CONCENTO 3RD ACHTUNG MAYBE

RACE 2: OPEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 7 STARTERS

SCINTILATOR underwent a veterinary examination prior to the start and was passed fit to take his place in the field. T HUISH, rider of FACTORWAY (4th place) was indisposed after the race. Stewards declared correct weight as they were satisfied that the horse carried its allotted weight.

No race incidents.

1ST ST. MILLI 2ND SUMMERSET COUNTY 3RD BLARNEY BOY

RACE 3: CLASS D HANDICAP 1200 METRES 9 STARTERS

SONG OF RIO (S Burrows) jumped outwards at the start forcing STIRLING LAKE (B Cornell) onto PEACHERINO. All riders were reminded that they must endeavour to keep their mounts straight at all times.

1ST HE’S TOUGH ENOUGH 2ND SONG OF RIO 3RD BERCARDEE QUEEN

RACE 4: CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 8 STARTERS

No race incidents.
