        MAIDEN PLATE - 1600 metres:  Rounding the home turn "Le Blanc (NZ)" was held
        up for a short distance when unable to obtain a clear run. Shortly after entering the straight "Le Blanc
        (NZ)" shifted in away from "Nerozero", which also shifted in slightly. Near the 200 metres "Hillure" shifted out under
        pressure. Shortly after this "Regent (NZ)" shifted out abruptly and brushed
        "Hillure". Race 2 - MENZIES OF BALLARAT SUPER VOBIS
        TWO-YEARS-OLD MAIDEN PLATE - 1400 metres:  When the gates opened "Twice Told" was slow to
        begin. When the gates opened "Outlaw Love" shifted in
        abruptly.  Rounding the home turn "Outlaw Love" hung out
        under pressure. Race 3 - FAULL'S SHOWS THREE-YEARS-OLD AND UP
        MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres:  Rounding the home turn "Louie's Backyard (NZ)"
        had a tendency to lay out. Approaching the winning post "Louie's Backyard
        (NZ)" laid in under pressure. Race 4 - POWER FM SUPER VOBIS THREE-YEARS-OLD
        MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres:  Acting on a report from the Starter who stated that
        "Export Sal" was unable to be loaded into its starting stall, the Stewards
        ordered the withdrawal of the filly at 2.03 p.m Subsequently the Stewards ordered that all monies wagered
        on "Export Sal" be refunded, and that all successful bets on horses prior to the
        time of withdrawal of "Export Sal" be subject to the following deductions in the
        dollar from the face value of the ticket: Win Bets: Nine cents; Place Bets: Ten cents;
        Winning Concession Bets: Nine cents, and Doubles Bets: Nine cents. All monies bet after the Stewards' declaration of
        withdrawal were ordered to be paid at face value of the ticket. Acting on a further report from the Starter that
        "Export Sal" was fractious behind the barrier and was unable to be loaded, the
        Stewards notified Mr. Meggs Elkington, who was representing the trainer of the filly, Mr.
        Bruce Elkington, that should "Export Sal" behave in a similar manner in future
        more severe action may be taken. Mr. Elkington was further notified that prior to the
        filly racing again he must obtain a barrier test certificate for it. Also acting on a report from the Starter regarding the
        unruly behaviour of "Willow Run" when being loaded into its starting stall, the
        Stewards notified Ms Simone Zanoni, who was representing Mr. G. Hanlon, trainer of the
        filly, that should it behave in a similar manner in future more severe action may be
        taken. Ms Zanoni was further notified that prior to "Willow Run" racing again
        Mr. Hanlon must obtain a barrier test certificate in respect of it. Also acting on a report from the Starter regarding the
        unruly behaviour of "Big Polly" when being placed in its starting stall, the
        Stewards notified Mr. Bryce Stanaway, trainer of the filly, that should it behave in a
        similar manner in future more severe action may be taken. Mr. Stanaway was further
        notified that prior to "Big Polly" racing again he must obtain a barrier test
        certificate for it. When the gates opened "Kingshott" and
        "Jyldyz" were` slow to begin. Near the 200 metres M. Allen, rider of "Wal's
        Princess", accidentally dropped his whip. Race 5 - DESIGN FURNITURE
        OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres:  When the gates opened "Island Beat" and
        "Fate's Surprise" knuckled. Near the 200 metres M. Zahra, rider of "Red
        Vista", accidentally dropped his whip. Race 6 - MEMORABILIA ON ARMSTRONG CLASS 1
        HANDICAP - 1100 metres:  Acting on a report from the Starter that after being placed
        in its stall "Mook San Girl" became fractious, resulting in S. Aitken, the rider
        of the filly, being injured and unfit to ride. To avoid an unnecessary delay the Stewards
        ordered the withdrawal of "Mook San Girl" at 3.14 p.m. Subsequently the Stewards ordered that all monies wagered
        on "Mook San Girl" be refunded, and that all successful bets on horses prior to
        the time of withdrawal of "Mook San Girl" be subject to the following deductions
        in the dollar from the face value of the ticket: Win Bets: 16 cents; Place Bets: 14 cents;
        Winning Concession Bets: 16 cents and Doubles Bets; 16 cents. All monies bet after the
        Stewards' declaration of withdrawal were ordered to be paid at face value of the ticket.  S. Aitken was notified that prior to riding again he must
        produce a medical certificate indicating that he had recovered from his injury and was fit
        to ride. Approaching the 900 metres "Centennial Dandy" had
        to be checked when tightened for room between "Rusty Penny" and "French
        Tempo (NZ)" (Lisa Irwin), which shifted in slightly. Lisa Irwin will be notified to
        exercise more care when shifting ground in future. An inquiry into the reason for Miss Lisa Irwin leaving the
        course after being asked by the Stewards to remain for an inquiry was adjourned to a date
        to be fixed Race 7 - INHABIT-LOOK COOKWARE CLASS 2
        HANDICAP - 1600 metres: No report. Race 8 - THE COURIER THREE-YEARS-OLD CLASS 1
        HANDICAP - 1400 metres:  Rounding the home turn "Blues Madam (NZ)" was
        held up for a short distance when unable to obtain a clear run. Approaching the winning post "Racer's Success"
        was inconvenienced when tightened for room by "Prince Putnins", which shifted
