Major Stress was slow to begin and lost ground. Approaching the 1000m Major Stress had to be eased off the heels of Autumn Bird.

Race 2 - Access Paper Restricted Trophy Race (3) Handicap 1200m

Prior to correct weight Ms D Waymouth, rider of third placegetter "Regal Mission", viewed the stewards' patrol video before deciding not to lodge an objection. .It was established that after passing the 300m, Regal Mission which had a tendency to lay out, had to be eased to avoid the heels of Rock of Angels which shifted in slightly.

Ms D Waymouth was reprimanded for failing to ride Regal Mission out hands and heels to the end of the race. Stewards believe her actions did not effect the result of the race.

Race 3 - Tekmould Restricted Trophy Race (2) Handicap 1600m

On arrival at the barriers, Ken's Award had to be re-saddled.

Race 4 - Coates Open Trophy Race Handicap 1600m

Little Tonic was slow to begin. 

Race 5 - Boxmakers Open Trophy Race 2000m

On jumping away, Miracle's Star (NZ) began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly resulting in the geldings' rider K Harris being dislodged. J. Sheppard, trainer of Miracle's Star (NZ) was notified that an official warning was placed on the gelding and should it perform in a similar manner in future, action may be taken.

Race 6 - Laser 3D Open Trophy Race 1200m
