        near the 1200m had to be repaired due to it being damaged when the barriers were being
        moved to the correct position. Just a Jester, which had thrown it's self down in the
        mounting yard was examined by the clubs veterinary surgeon and was passed fit to run.
        Final Heir was slow to begin. On jumping away Just a Jester was hampered when tightened
        for room by Record Breaker which shifted in and Tolago which shifted out. J. Corley
        trainer of Just a Jester unplaced notified the stewards that subsequent to the event, that
        Just a Jester was lame in the off hind leg.  Race 2 - J & E W Rush Insurance Class
        2 Handicap.  Noah's Fortune was slow to begin. J. Patton rider of Mrs.
        Humphrey which had performed below expectations stated to the stewards that the mare
        travelled well in the early and middle stages of the race but failed to respond to his
        riding in the straight. A veterinary examination of Mrs. Humphrey subsequent to the event
        revealed no abnormality. Nearing the 800m Jet Pilot brushed the running rail. During the
        running of the race Tahitian Crown suffered a bleeding attack.  Race 3 - North East Maiden Plate.  Rounding the home turn Mountain Shadow hung out badly and
        was eased out of the race by its rider David Taggart. Dennis McCrohan trainer of the colt
        was notified that before Mountain Shadow would be permitted to start again the colt must
        trial to the satisfaction of the stewards. The start of the race was delayed due to B.
        Rawiller rider of Hackett being struck in the head by Hackett when that gelding reared in
        the mounting yard. B. Rawiller was examined by the clubs medical officer and passed fit to
        run. Approaching the 1200m Siraami had to be eased off the heals of Classic Park which
        shifted in. Race 4 - Teac Rising Stars Apprentice
        Class 2 Handicap.  On jumping away Jungle Bird (NZ) stood flat footed and lost
        ground. Approaching the 1400m Youthful Gem when over racing shifted out and hampered Royal
        Flipper. Approaching the 400m Jungle Bird (NZ) had to be eased off the heals of Sunburnt
        Hopi. Jungle Bird (NZ) then shifted out abruptly.  Race 5 - Benalla Toyota Class 6 Handicap.
         Kruger King (NZ) was slow to begin.  Race 6 - Chris Lowen Smash Repairs Class 3
        Handicap.  Rockaway jumped away awkwardly. Magic Murdoch was slow to
        begin. Approaching the 800m Rockaway, which was over racing had to be eased of the heals
        of Tristram's Gem. Approaching the winning post Uncle Willy, laid out under pressure. Race 7 - Bridgestone Benalla Tyre Centre
        Class 1 Handicap.  Vittorio was slow to begin. Approaching the 200m Bicarb
        shifted in towards Our Dane, as a result of this Bicarb was accidentally struck across the
        head by the whip of M. Allen ridder of Our Dane. Shortly after this Bicard shied away from
        the whip of Our Dane which shifted out slightly. After passing the 100 m Bicarb shifted in
        under pressure and brushed Our Dane.  Race 8 - Super Vobis Three Years Old
        Maiden.  On jumping away Levart was tightened for room between
        Oakwood Miss and Starcove Dancer (NZ), when both horses shifted ground. In the early and
        middle stages of the race Oakwood Miss over raced. After passing the 400m Cloudy Court
        which was weakening shifted in and away from Delvecchio (NZ). Brushed the running rail and
        became unbalanced. Rounding the home corner Starcove Dancer was held up for a run. After
        passing the 200m Gold Mine was taken out onto Rumba Spirit by Delvecchio (NZ). Approaching
        the winning post Rumba Spirit had to be eased to avoid the heals of Delvecchio (D.
        Nikolic) which shifted out under pressure, D. Nikolic was severely reprimanded and
        notified that he must stop riding and straighten his mounts when in similar circumstances
        in future. Approaching the 500m no 12 shifted out which resulted in Hands Full and Count
        Of Conjola being hampered.  SWAB SAMPLES: -  Pre race blood samples were taken from the following horses
        for post race analysis. Race 2 West Texas,Race 2 Jet Pilot,
