RACE 2 – MGA INSURANCE –
CEDUNA FOODLAND / SABIS CLASS D HANDICAP:
HABEBAI (S. Lovegrove) and MUSGITAL (S.
Grivell) were slow to begin.
In the vicinity of the 800 metres RUBICAN
(C. Tyler) rolled in slightly onto MUSGITAL (S. Grivell), momentarily inconveniencing that
horse.
RACE 3 – SMOKY BAY OYSTERS /
SABIS MAIDEN PLATE:
AMEN ROYALE (S. Lovegrove) and INSTEAD
OF FLOWERS (D. Wilson) were slow away.
The winner DESERT SHADE was taken to the
swabbing stall to be swabbed. Due to the mare becoming very distressed, the attempt to
take the swab was abandoned on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon.
