1200 metres: At the start, Fearless Angel was bumped by Thurman, which
shifted in. Near the 600 metres, Elmatilla laid out and was checked off
the heels of Lady Sophia, which shifted in slightly. Race 3 - GLOBE COMMUNICATIONS S.V. 3YO MAIDEN
PLATE (1) -1200 metres: Shortly after the start, Royal Fraar was tightened for room
between Elcapone, which was taken out by Vixen and Gold Nuggets, which shifted in. Near the 800 metres, Small Promise, which was over-racing,
shifted out abruptly after being checked off the heels of Hang On Soupy, which resulted in
Ubiquitous and Elcapone being severely hampered. Shortly after this, Royal Fraar was then
checked to avoid the heels of Small Promise, which then shifted in. Race 4 - FAST IMPRESSIONS S.V. 3YO MAIDEN PLATE
        (2) - 1200 metres: Shortly after the start, Lukeayden knuckled and almost
dislodged F Alesci, its jockey. Near the 400 metres, Sova checked to avoid the heels of
Secret Voodoo, which was weakening. In the straight, Stylish Queen hung in. During the race, the saddle on Cheam shifted backwards, and

PLATE - 2025 metres: Passing the 500 metres, Sillery Iriot was checked when
disappointed for a run between Royalty Voyage and Final Charge (NZ). Race 6 - FAST IMPRESSIONS CLASS 5 HANDICAP - 1200
metres: Prior to correct weight, L Dowson, rider of Anakie Walk,
viewed the patrol videos and then lodged an objection against Ol' Blue Eyes (A Darmanin)
being declared the second placegetter on the grounds of an alleged interference from the
200 metres to the 100 metres, which L Dowson then amended to the grounds of from shortly
after straightening until the 100 metres. After hearing evidence from all parties
concerned, and viewing the patrol videos, the Stewards upheld the objection, the amended
        places now being: Nas Princess, 1st placegetter; Anakie Walk, 2nd placegetter;
Ol' Blue Eyes, 3rd placegetter; and Fraar Image, 4th placegetter. It was established that upon straightening, Anakie Walk was
disappointed for a run between Ol' Blue Eyes and Nas Princess, and that near the 200
metres, Anakie Walk was checked when tightened for room by Ol' Blue Eyes (A Darmanin),
which shifted in. The Stewards adjourned an inquiry into this matter until a date to be
fixed. Race 7 - BEST BETS CLASS 3 HANDICAP - 2025 metres: Over the concluding stages, Royal Flipper had difficulty in
obtaining a clear run. Near the finishing line Spider Bite was eased to avoid the
heels of Royal Flipper, which shifted out to obtain a clear run. During the race, Royal Flipper lost its off-hind plate. L Milham, rider of Belle Stone (NZ), which performed below
expectations, explained that the filly hung out throughout the race. Subsequent to the
race, the Club veterinary surgeon reported that he could find no abnormality with the
filly. The Stewards will notify Mr R Cameron, trainer of the filly, that an official
warning will be recorded against the filly for hanging out. Race 8 - CHERRY MARKETING CLASS 2 HANDICAP - 1600
metres: Shortly after the start, Dantarian shifted out and hampered

heels of Dantarian, which shifted out. Race 9 - FORBES FASHION CLASS 1 HANDICAP - 1300
metres: Shortly after the start, Gold Pele was tightened for room
between Claret Damsel and Helovan, which both shifted ground slightly. Near the 200 metres Scalded Cat was tightened for room
between Westfield and Claret Damsel, which shifted out. Shortly after this, Scalded Cat was again tightened for
