Riding Changes:

Race 1 - Solo Super Vobis 2YO Maiden Plate 1200m

Near the 400m Radiant Energy was tightened for room between Yoling and Wild Night which shifted in. Thorbey which was following had to be eased off the heels of Radiant Energy.

Race 2 - Pepsi Super Vobis 3YO Maiden Plate (1) 1400m

On jumping away Acela sprawled.

Near the 1200m Mantoya had to be eased when tightened for room by A Thousand Drinks which shifted in away from Final Charge. Shortly afterwards Celtic Melody had to be eased when tightened for room by A Thousand Drinks.

On the home turn S. Cooper rider of Racy Gracy dropped his whip. At the entrance to the straight Celtic Melody had to be eased to avoid the heels of A Thousand Drinks which shifted out.

Race 3 - Pepsi Super Vobis 3YO Maiden Plate (2) 1400m

Near the 1200m Clever Lass had to be checked when tightened for room by Ton of Class (B Fenech) which shifted in when not clear. B. Fenech was severely reprimanded and notified he must exercise far greater care when shifting ground in the future.

Near the 800m Leica Ballad shifted in and hampered Southesk.

Race 4 - Raise A Grand Maiden Plate 2025m

Shortly after the start Force of Habit and Box Poko came together and became unbalanced when tightened for room by Officer Barbrady which shifted in. Shortly afterwards Force of Habit had to be checked when racing tight between Strelka on the inside and Box Poko which shifted in away from Officer Barbrady.

Near the 600m Officer Barbrady had to be eased to avoid the heels of The Concert Grand which shifted in slightly and eased. Shortly afterwards Box Poko was tightened for room between Officer Barbrady and Spirit of Raami which both shifted slightly. Box Poko when being tightened for room clipped the heels of Spirited Raami.

Race 5 - LJM Marketing Class 1 Handicap 1000m

Prior to correct weight L. Currie rider of Sunpower viewed the Stewards patrol film in respect to lodging an objection. After viewing the film L Currie did not proceed with the objection and correct weight was declared.

On the home turn Brother Durham was tightened for room by Gritti Palace which shifted in.

Race 6 - Schweppes Open Handicap 1400m

Touch of Mahogany was slow to begin.

At the entrance to the straight P Fung rider of Demontage dropped his whip.

Race 7 - LJM Marketing Class 3 Handicap 1200m
