Due to a shortage of riders, the following late scratchings were effected at 1pm.
Race 2 No 7 SHE’S NO DANE
Race 4 No 5 MAJESTIC ANNE
Race 6 No 6 CROWN COUNSEL

RACE TWO MAIDEN HCP – 11OO M

When the gates opened CUDJERI and JULIGHT were slow into stride. MORE MUD jumped out and bumped JULIGHT. MAGIC CITY knuckled, moved out and impeded ROYAL FIZZ. MAGIC CITY raced greenly from the start to near the 650 metres.

1st MAGIC CITY. 2nd ROYAL FIZZ. 3rd MONSOON BABY.

RACE FOUR CLASS 1 HCP – 12OO M

At the start SEARCH FOR PEACE jumped in on to GOLDEN SUPREMACY and raced very wide on the track down the back straight.

P Shiers, rider of GOLDEN SUPREMACY was fined $50 under rule AR137A for improper use of the whip after passing the winning post. The improper use being that he struck the gelding with the whip forward of the shoulder.

1st SILENT MAJORITY. 2nd CABIN. 3rd BOWEN SPECIAL.

RACE SIX CLASS 4 HCP – 1OOO M

On jumping away AWESOME DIAMOND moved out and BESHARRI moved away from that gelding on to CRACK THE WHIP. At the same time COPPERPLATE jumped awkwardly, tightening CRACK THE WHIP on to BESHARRI, this unbalanced COPPERPLATE and resulted in that gelding being turned sideways.

1st EMBRACES. 2nd AWESOME DIAMOND. 3rd BESHARRI.

RACE EIGHT CLASS 6 HCP – 12OO M

TREBORNIX (NZ) was slow into stride.

1st BRONZE CHEIRON. 2nd SPORTS GAIT. 3rd JOGGING.

All winners were swabbed today
