Subsequent to the event stewards ordered all monies wagered on FRAAGYLE LUCK to be refunded and the following betting deductions. All monies wagered prior to the withdrawal of FRAAGYLE LUCK to be paid as follows- For the win, face value of the ticket less 7 cents in the dollar. For the place, face value of the ticket less 8 cents in the dollar. Stewards questioned Mr S Clarke, trainer of FRAAGYLE LUCK about the mares injury. Mr Clarke stated that the mare had an injury which it had recovered from and that it appeared fit to start today until he attempted to walk it out to be saddled and it was then found to be lame. The club’s veterinary surgeon believed that FRAAGYLE LUCK may have stood on something and injured its heel on the way to the track.

Stewards questioned Mr S Paynter, trainer of PINON which showed improved form today.
