 RACE ONE MAIDEN HCP
         16OO M The start was delayed 4 minutes due to no
        ambulance on course. On jumping away CENTRESTAD was slow into
        stride. Approaching the 1400 metres CLASSIC ROSE shifted in slightly onto SATYR KING which
        in turn shifted in onto MARY RIVER PRINCE on the fence causing that rider to take hold
        momentarily. Approaching the 600 metres SATYR KING (S
        Burrows) which was losing ground had to be eased off the heels of CENTRESTAD when that
        colt shifted in. M Cullen rider of CENTRESTAD was severely reprimanded and reminded of his
        obligations to give other riders the room to which they are entitled  PRESTIGOUS was inclined to lay in over the
        final 150 metres. Apprentice B Smith was fined $100 for
        failing to ride at his MRW. Stewards questioned T Perry rider of MARY
        RIVER PRINCE over the poor performance of that gelding. T Perry stated that her horse
        resented the dirt being thrown back at her mount and never really stretched out, she also
        stated that MARY RIVER PRINCE appeared to have pulled up alright. 1st CLASSIC ROSE 2nd PRESTIGIOUS 3rd
        ERBOURNE RACE TWO CLASS D HCP  13OO M M Cullen rider of STREWTH was found guilty
        of a charge of careless riding. The careless riding being that near the 200 metres he
        permitted his mount to shift in when not sufficiently clear of EL SUROSO causing that
        rider to have to check his mount and lose his rightful running. M Cullen was suspended
        from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday 5th August 2002 (2

        STREWTH RACE THREE CLASS D HCP  1OOO M Approaching the 400 metres KELTIC KID and
        CENTRE DANCER bumped. CENTRE DANCER was inclined to lay out
        around the home turn. M Cullen, rider of the fourth place getter
        CENTRE DANCER, lodged a protest against MYTH ridden by N Paine which finished third,
        alleging interference from about the 600 metres. After viewing the films and considering
        all the evidence taken from both parties, stewards dismissed the protest and ordered that
        placings were to stand 1st TARCOOLA MAGIC 2nd CHEQUE
        ATTACK 3rd MYTH RACE FOUR CLASS 5 HCP  15OO M LARRAPINTA LAD jumped away awkwardly. At about the 900 metres DAVES CHANCE, which was
        racing forward had to be eased off the heels of SABBATH. 1st SABBATH 2nd DURCILLA 3rd OUR
        POWERBALL RACE FIVE WFA  16OO M During the event SOUCH STREET suffered an attack of
        bleeding. 1st SEA ROYAL 2nd BELLILE 3rd
        GUNNEL RACE SIX CLASS 4 HCP  12OO M 1st SILENT MAJORITY 2nd ZEDROVSKI
        3rd KU RING GAI CHASE On jumping away KU RING GAI CHASE was
        tightened in between SILENT MAJORITY which jumped inwards and BOBS COUNTY who
        shifted out. Also on jumping away ZEDROVSKI jumped outwards bumping LEURA EXPRESS. Approaching the 400 metres SKYE KAJOY,
        which was starting to race forward, had to be eased off the heels of BOBS COUNTY. All winners were swabbed today A routine urine sample was taken from
