"Global Affair (NZ)" made a faulty jump, resulting in B. Constable, rider of the
gelding, losing the use of his off-side stirrup iron for a short distance. Shortly after jumping the hurdle near the 800 metres
"King's Honour" had to be checked when tightened for room by "Global Affair
(NZ)", which shifted in after jumping that hurdle awkwardly. When being checked
"King's Honour" clipped the heels of "Global Affair (NZ)" and almost
fell. Throughout the race "Boxter Blue" hung out. Race 2 - GRC SENIORS DAY 13TH JUNE
MAIDEN PLATE - 2212 metres: On the turn out of the straight the saddle on

shifted out and hampered "World Wide Web". In the straight "Storm the Palace" hung in under
pressure. Acting on a report by the Starter that "Lieutenant

Kelly, who was representing her father, Mr. Terry Kelly, trainer of the gelding, that
should it behave in a similar manner in future more severe action may be taken. Miss Kelly
was further notified that prior to the gelding racing again a barrier test certificate
must be produced for it. Race 3 - JAYCO CARAVANS
MAIDEN PLATE - 1207 metres: After being placed in its starting stall "Storm

when tightened for room between "Rock of the Ages" and "Uncle Ike",
which shifted out slightly. V. Hall, rider of "Rainbows for Me" which had
performed below expectations, stated to the Stewards that the gelding travelled well until
near the 800 metres where he believed "Rainbows for Me" from that point failed
to handle the wet track conditions today. V. Hall added that the gelding felt normal in
