        TWO-YEARS-OLD HANDICAP (1100 METRES)  SQUID was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ALANCIA was hampered when tightened
        for room by MOOKFREUX which was taken in by STARKALANI which shifted in away from
        MARANELLO MISS. In the straight WELCOME RAE laid out under pressure.  Race 2 - 3HA ACE RADIO MAIDEN PLATE (2200 METRES)

        PLATE (1400 METRES)  Shortly after the start MILLION STORMS had to be checked
        when tightened for room between TAI CHI and TORRID TIMES which was taken out by DAILY
        LIGHT which began awkwardly and bumped KEEP IT REGAL resulting in DAILY LIGHT then
        shifting out. Race 4 - EULONG STEEPLECHASE (3200 METRES)  No report. Race 5 - STRINGER CLARK CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1600
        METRES)  Shortly after straightening BACONER'S SISTER and SAQLAWI
        (NZ) were both hampered when tightened for room by INSATIABELLE (NZ) (N. Wilson) which was
        initially taken in slightly by SPANISH STEPS before shifting in further. N. Wilson was
        notified to exercise more care when shifting ground in future. Race 6 - CARLTON DRAUGHT HAMILTON CUP (2200
        METRES)  L. Coffey rider of TIFFANY'S BEST stated that the mare
        travelled well throughout the event but then weakened quickly when put under pressure
        running down the hill near the 600 metres and added that in his opinion the mare was
        unsuited to today's track condition.  Race 7 - ROSEMOUNT ESTATE CLASS 4 HANDICAP (1200
        METRES)  Acting on a confirmed telephone call from Mr. Colin
        McDonald Trainer of PARLOURS, that the gelding had sustained an injury to its off fore leg
        subsequent to 8 a.m. and was unfit to run. The Stewards withdrew the gelding from the
        event at 10.22 a.m. Mr. McDonald was advised that he must produce a Veterinary Certificate
        in respect of the gelding being unfit to start. HALO AT RISK was slow to begin. Race 8 - HAMILTON V/LINE HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
         At the entrance to the straight Miss. C. Cole rider of
        UKULELE PLAYER accidentally dropped her whip. Race 9 - BORONIA PEAK VILLAS CLASS 5 HANDICAP
        (1600 METRES)  After passing the 200 metres HEIRORAAMI when hampered was
        tightened for room between FATAL RHYTHM and VOODOO BUBBLES which both shifted ground. PRE-RACE BLOOD SAMPLES were taken from
