        being overweight. Race 1 - Programmed Maintenance Services SV 3YO
        Maiden Plate - 1000m Acting on notification from Racing Services Bureau that
        when they released the scratchings at 8.00 a.m. they had inadvertently left No 13 Allo
        Harry, 1st emergency, out of the official scratchings when that horse had
        failed to gain a start. Acting on this Stewards withdrew Allo Harry at 8.26 a.m.  Due to one of the ambulances having mechanical difficulties
        and was unable to be started, the vehicle had to be towed from the course, causing the
        start of the race to be delayed. Spot The Vain dislodged its rider M. Johnstone, when being
        mounted, cantered a short distance before being captured. Spot The Vain was examined by
        the Club's Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to run.  Michael Johnstone rider of Spot The Vain was notified he
        must ride his mount out hands and heels to the end of the race. Race 2 - Perfect Party Hire Maiden Plate - 1000m
         As a result of Race one being delayed, the start of this
        race was also delayed. On jumping away Super Remo was tightened for room between
        Raffin Fair and Weazel Pop, which shifted out. Near the 800 metres Fandango was hampered when tightened
        for room between Berridale and Brearlo, which both shifted ground slightly. Shortly after
        this incident Dashing Beau had to be eased off the heels of Surfie Pete, which shifted out
        slightly.  After passing the 200 metres Sir Roley, when making ground,
        had to change course to obtain a clear run.  Race 3 - Schweppes Maiden Plate - 1800m
         No report. Race 4 - Nutrans Transport Class 2 Handicap -
        1800m  On jumping away Raging Hazard was tightened for room
        between Aces Are Sweet and Nartarlee, which both shifted ground. Shortly after this
        incident Raging Hazard clipped the heels of Nartarlee (R. Wood), which shifted in when not
        sufficiently clear. As there was some circumstance, that there may have been a slight
        shift from Aces Are Sweet, which was racing inside Raging Hazard at this stage, the
        Stewards gave R. Wood the benefit of the doubt as to whether he was fully responsible for
        the interference, The stewards severely reprimanded him and notified him he must be clear
        of other runners when shifting ground in future. Race 5 - Sound Vault Records Class 4 Handicap -
        1600m  Rounding the home turn Great Relief hung out badly and
        proved difficult for its rider J. Patton to ride the gelding out in his normal manner. Mr.
        M. Ball, representing Mr. B. McCarthy trainer of Great Relief was notified that a warning
        was being placed on the gelding today, and should it perform in a similar manner in future
        it may be suspended from racing for a period.  Race 6 - Tooheys New F & M Class 1 Handicap -
        1600m  After being mounted Our Secret Formula (NZ) reared over and
        dislodged its rider Miss K. Walters. Race 7 - Hanging Rock Winery Class 3 Handicap -
        2400m  Prior to correct weight D. Yendell rider of Union Lad, 3rd
        placegetter viewed the Stewards video with a view to lodging an objection. After viewing
        the video D.Yendell decided not to lodge an objection. My Belle Amie (NZ) jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Approaching the winning post Jarl (NZ) shifted out under
        pressure and inconvenienced Union Lad. Race 8 - Buskers Festival Class 1 Handicap - 1000m
