Near the 900 metres "Loch Alsh", when pulling hard, shifted out to avoid the heels of "Le Blanc (NZ)", resulting in "Heaps of Pride", which was following, clipping the heels of that gelding and almost falling.

Also near the 900 metres "Picolo Toro" shifted in away from "Melbourne D'Or" and brushed the running rail.

Race 3 - SIR JAMES SORRENTO HOTEL CLASS 2 HANDICAP - 1600 metres:

When the gates opened "Supreme Heights (NZ)" shifted in and tightened "Solovei" on to "Our Vain (NZ)".

Near the 1000 metres "Sophie Princess" had to be eased when tightened for room between "Soviet Son" and "Buckeye Blue", which shifted in slightly.

Shortly after this "Buckeye Blue" had to be eased when tightened for room between "Soviet Son" and "Arch Ripa", which shifted in away from "Red Edition".

Race 9 - SIR JAMES BERWICK INN CLASS 1 HANDICAP - 1200 metres:

When the gates opened "Poetic Pursuit" was slow to begin.

Approaching the 300 metres "Liquid Steel (NZ)" and "Ebonize" came together due to both horses shifting ground slightly.

SWAB SAMPLES were taken from "Rumah Batik", winner of the Sir James Sorrento Hotel Class 2 Handicap - Race 3; from "Speck of Ginger", winner of the Carlton Draught TBV Red Ruby Super Vobis Two-Years-Old Fillies Handicap (Heat 3) - (Race 4); from "Café Pompeii (NZ), winner of the Sir James Rhodes Foodway Class 6 Handicap - Race 6, and from "Cheron Kenny", winner of the Sir James Dromana Cellars Class 1 Handicap (2) - Race 7.
