         Near the 1100 metres "LIVINGSTONE COUNTY" raced
        ungenerously.Approaching the 800 metres "LIVINGSTONE COUNTY" was hampered by
        "PONRABBEL" which shifted out.
 Approaching the home turn "ARABIAN TOWERS" was held up.
 Rounding the home turn "BRILLIANT FANFARE" shifted out abruptly and hampered
        "ARABIAN TOWERS".
 In the early part of the straight "BANK INTEREST" shifted in the tightened
        "ERBOURNE" in onto "EDGBASTON".
 Race 2 - SUPER VOBIS THREE YEARS OLD
        MAIDEN PLATE 1400 metres:  On jumping away "BRYDAN" and "ROAR"
        bumped due to both horses shifting ground.In the early stages of the race the saddle on "DREAMSTATE" shifted forward
        placing L. Milham, the rider of the filly, at a disadvantage throughout the race.
 At the entrance to the straight "SHINING SYMBOL" had to be eased when tightened
        for room between "BRYDAN" and "ROYAL CELEBRITY" due to both horses
        shifting ground slightly.
 Race 3 - CARLTON DRAUGHT CLASS 3 HANDICAP
        1000 metres:  On jumping away "ROCKIES" knuckled. Race 4 -puntersclub.com FOUR YEARS OLD
        & UP MAIDEN PLATE 1400 metres:  In the early stages of the race the saddle of
        "AMBERED" shifted forward placing P. Mertens, the rider of the mare, at a
        disadvantage for the remainder of the race. Due to the saddle shifting forward the light
        foam packing of "AMBERED" slipped from beneath the saddle and fell to the
        ground. Prior to correct weight being declared P. Mertens, rider of "AMBERED",
        which had finished unplaced, was weighed and found to have carried his allotted weight. Approaching the 800 metres "BRIAG" had to be checked when tightened for room
        between "DIESEL CLAUSE" (R. Booth) which initially shifted out and
        "CHEMEKETA" (A. Darmanin) which shifted in. Both R. Booth and A. Darmanin were
        notified to do their utmost to protect their fellow rider when placed in similar
        circumstances.
 For the majority of the home straight "DISRAELI" layed in. Also in the home
        straight "ECHO ALONG" shifted in under pressure on a number of occasions and
        proved difficult to ride.
 D. Taggart, rider of "ACTIVE RULER" which had performed poorly, stated that the
        gelding never travelled well throughout the race. A subsequent veterinary examination of
        "ACTIVE RULER" revealed no abnormalities.
 Race 5 -BON HOYSTED APPRENTICES CUP 1700
        metres:  No report. Race 6 - EAT WELL LIVE WELL FILLIES &
        MARES CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200 metres: "OZBIRD" jumped away awkwardly.Shortly after the start "CRYSTALIZE" shifted in and bumped "FLEU DE
        MOI" resulting in that mare faltering.
 Approaching the 700 metres "FLEUR DE MOI" knuckled.
 Near the 200 metres "REAL TICKER" was accidentally struck over the head by the
        whip of M. Allen, rider of "BONNIE BREW". Shortly after this incident "REAL
        TICKER" which was weakening, had to be eased to avoid the heels of "BONNY
        BREW" which shifted out under pressure.
 Race 7 - PAKENHAM CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1400
        metres:  "LEAD SINGER" jumped away awkwardly.Near the 200 metres "BOORTKOI MUSTANG" had to be eased to avoid the heels of
        "SHEER SPECIAL" which shifted out.
 After passing the 200 metres "GAME HUNTER" had some difficulty obtaining a clear
        run.
 C. Symons, rider of "LEAD SINGER" which weakened badly in the home straight,
        stated that his mount began to give ground approaching the home turn and weakened badly
        from that point onwards. C. Symons added that when weakening "LEAD SINGER" hung
        out.
 On return to scale the Club's Veterinary Surgeon reported that "HAPPY HOOKSTA"
        had been galloped on in the off hind leg.
 Race 8 - PAKENHAM CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1400
        metres:  "ZATOPEK" was slow to begin. SWAB SAMPLES - Routine swab samples were
        taken from the following winners:Race 1 - ARABIAN TOWERS.
 Race 2 - KEL.
 Race 3 - SUPER SUAVE.
 Race 7 - LIMERICK SCENE.
 A random swab sample was taken from the following horse:
 Race 6 - CRYSTALIZE.
