 RACE 1  SOUTHWARK
        BITTER CLASS 3 HANDICAP  1600 metres CHINA VICEROY was a late withdrawal at
        11.10 a.m., on Veterinary advice, when that gelding was found to have a strain to its off
        fore suspensory ligament. Mr. W. Bencic, Trainer of CHINA VICEROY, was advised that a
        Veterinary Certificate of Fitness to Race would be required before accepting for a future
        event. Racing inside the 200 metres STARDOM ROAD
        (S. Lovegrove) shifted in under riding, taking DONTAINE (W. Kerford) inwards. S. Lovegrove
        was advised of her obligations when shifting ground. RACE 2  WEST END 107 / SABIS
        MAIDEN PLATE  1200 metres On jumping away BLUNDSTON TUFF (K. Louca)
        shifted out, resulting in TALUSE (B. Vale) being inconvenienced. A Veterinary examination of SOLIANKA,
        subsequent to the event, revealed the filly had a laceration to its off knee, which
        required treatment. RACE 3  HAHN PREMIUM CLASS 2
        HANDICAP (1ST Division)  1200 metres ABSCENE (W. Kerford) was slow to begin. TARARI FOX (H. McKechnie) and OUR BUTTERFLY
        (J. Potter) knuckled over on jumping. In the vicinity of the 1100 metres RYNDEL
        LADY (C. Bryant) shifted out onto AMEN BEV (J. Lyon), which in turn shifted out onto WHY
        DI (M. Hoppo), resulting in the three horses brushing together and AMEN BEV becoming
        unbalanced for a short distance. As a result of this incident WHY DI shifted out,
        resulting in QUICK AND LIVELY (M. Neilson) being put onto the heels of CAN GET EXCITED (D.
        Azis). In consequence in QUICK AND LIVELY had to be steadied. In the vicinity of the 1000 metres JAZORSKY
        (J. Marks) shifted in, resulting in TARARI FOX (H. McKechnie) being tightened for
        galloping room and becoming unbalanced for a short distance. After this incident TARARI
        FOX raced ungenerously for a short distance. J. Marks was advised of his obligations when
        shifting ground. RACE 4  HAHN PREMIUM LIGHT
        CLASS 2 HANDICAP (2nd Division)  1200 metres GOLDEN SKILL lost its near hind
        plate during the event. RACE 5  WEST END OLD CLASS 1
        HANDICAP  1400 metres Stewards questioned Mr. H. Robertson,
        Trainer of DRAW POINT, for the late declaration of H. Gower as the rider of the gelding.
        Stewards accepted the explanation put forward by Mr. Robertson. SAUNTERING was a late withdrawal at 2.41
        p.m. after that gelding became fractious and flipped over in the gates. Mr. N. Lennon,
        Trainer of SAUNTERING, was advised the gelding was now banned from racing for a period,
        until it could prove to Stewards in official barrier trial it could be tractable in the
        gates. Stewards ruled that all monies invested on
        SAUNTERING be refunded. Bets made on other runners prior to the withdrawal were to be paid
        on the face value of the ticket less:Bets for a WIN - 3 cents in the dollar, and
 Bets for a PLACE - 4 cents in the dollar.
 SP Bets are subject to the deductions.
 PURE CLASS and TRUCENTS TOUCH, which
        were in adjoining stalls to SAUNTERING, underwent Veterinary examinations, which revealed
        both geldings were fit to start. Upon jumping away ROCKY MOUNT (J. Marks)
        shifted in onto GOLD DAY (J. Lyon), resulting in that gelding being hampered and in turn
        shifting in, making contact with WE DARE (M. Hoppo). Racing inside the 100 metres ON THE CANAL
        (A. Stead), which had taken a tight run inside of SIMPLY SUAVE (D. Azis), was obliged to
        steady for a short distance when tightened by that mare, which shifted in slightly. A Veterinary examination of PURE CLASS,
        subsequent to the event, revealed the gelding had sustained bruising to its off knee. RACE 6  HAHN PREMIUM LIGHT
        CLASS 4 HANDICAP  1100 metres SAXONY GIRL (J. Marks) and TAGO (B. Vale)
        were slow to begin. On jumping away PELIGRO (D. Azis) shifted
        out slightly and at the same time AMENACE (M. Neilson) shifted in slightly, resulting in
        GREY HEIREA (K. Louca), which was racing between those two horses, being inconvenienced. Racing to the 900 metres AMENACE (M.
        Neilson) shifted in, taking PELIGRO (D. Azis) in onto YELARTA BOY (T. Barras), resulting
        in that gelding being tightened and having to be steadied. M. Neilson was advised of his
        obligations when shifting ground. RACE 7  WEST END DRAUGHT
        HANDICAP  1600 metres On jumping away CAVALLI VELOCI (J. Lyon)
        jumped outwards, taking ZAHEEM (A. Stead) onto the hindquarters of TIKI PRINCE (J. Marks),
        which resulted in ZAHEEM being inconvenienced. Rounding the home turn TIKI PRINCE (J.
        Marks), which was under extreme pressure and weakening, was inconvenienced when ZAHEEM (A.
        Stead) shifted out marginally, when taken out by AROUND THE RING (J. Potter). RACE 8  WEST END DRAUGHT /
        SABIS 2-Y-O & UP MAIDEN PLATE  1500 metres Upon jumping away INGURAIN (A. Stead) was
        inconvenienced due to MOONEY (J. Marks) shifting out slightly at the same time as GOLD RUN
        (H. Gower) shifted in. SWABBING: Race 2 TENOR BILL (winner)Race 3 RYNDEL LADY (winner)
