        metresAfter being placed in its stall "Initialled" reared resulting in V.
        Duric the geldings rider injuring himself. As V. Duric was therefore unable to ride
        Stewards ordered the withdrawal of "Initialled" at 12.56 p.m. and subsequent to
        the race ordered the following betting deductions. All monies bet for a win and/or place
        and concession betting on "Initialled" to be refunded. All successful bets on
        horses prior to time of withdrawal of "Initialled" are subject to the following
        deductions in the dollar from the face value of the ticket:
 Win Bets: 17 cents
 Place Bets: 19 cents
 Winning Concession Bets: 17 cents
 Doubles Bets: 17 cents
 All monies bet after the Stewards declaration of withdrawal to be paid at face value of
        ticket.
 During the running of the race "Polar Bear"
        suffered a bleeding attack.  In the straight "Red Prince" had a tendency to
        lay in and then after passing the 300 metres had to be eased off the heels of
        "Rosilo". L. Milham rider of "Red Prince" was found guilty
        of a charge of having struck his mount with his whip over its head after passing the 200
        metres. L. Milham was fined the sum of $300.  Subsequent to the race Mr. W Stevens part owner trainer of
        "Tambridge" notified the Stewards that "Tambridge" was lame in the
        near hind leg.  Race 2 - Holiday Maiden Plate - 1200 metres When the gates opened "Disraeli" jumped away awkwardly.
 In the straight "Disraeli" laid in under
        pressure.  Race 3 - Golden Beach Class 3 Handicap - 1200
        metres When the gates opened "Glencampbell Girl" was slow to begin.
 Race 4 - Summer F & M Class 1 Handicap -
        1700 metresAfter passing the 1600 metres "Oakhill Dancer" had to be eased when
        tightened for room between "Miss Carefree" and "Lucy Flyer" when both
        horses shifted ground slightly.

 Race 6 - Two Thousand and Two Class 4 Handicap

 Race 7 - Loch Sport Class 1 Handicap - 1200
        metresActing on a confirmed telephone call from Mr. R. Griffiths trainer of
        "Frankenstein" who stated to the Stewards that the gelding was suffering from a
        respiratory infection and was therefore unfit to race. Stewards ordered the withdrawal of
        "Frankenstein" at 9.25 am. A veterinary certificate in respect of
        "Frankenstein" has been faxed to the club.
 At the entrance to the straight "Lacristi" was
        held up for some distance when disappointed for a run between "Shiva" and
        "Charlette's Star". Race 8 - Seaspray Maiden Plate 1400 metresAs V. Duric was ruled unfit to ride by the clubs medical officer and as no other
        rider was available Stewards ordered the withdrawal of "Bridlecan" at 5.04 p.m.
 After weighing out to ride "Sir Galaway" G.
        Mathrick became ill and was ruled unfit to run by the clubs medical officer. As there was
        no other rider available Stewards ordered the withdrawal of "Sir Galaway at 5.18 p.m.
        Subsequent to the race Stewards ordered the following betting deductions.All monies bet for a win and/or place and concession betting on "Sir Galaway" to
        be refunded. All successful bets on horses prior to time of withdrawal of "Sir
        Galaway" are subject to the following deductions in the dollar from the face value of
        the ticket:
 Win Bets: 9 cents
 Place Bets: 10 cents
 Winning Concession Bets: 9 cents
 Doubles Bets: 9 cents
 All monies bet after the Stewards declaration of withdrawal to be paid at face value of
        ticket.
 When being loaded into the barriers Ms T Butler was
        dislodged from "Wellington Drive". In the early stages of the race "City Rhythm
        (NZ)" raced greenly.  Near the 200 metres "North Road" had to be eased
        off the heels of "Carletty (NZ)" which shifted in slightly.  SWAB SAMPLES - A routine swab sample was taken from the following horses:
 Race 1 - "Ashkalante" winner of the race.
 Race 3 - "Royal Jugah" winner of the race.
 Race 4 - "Lucy Flyer" second place getter.
 Race 5 - " Loucola" winner of the race.
 Race 7 - "Master Jago" winner of the race.
