shifted out and away from ASTRAGAZE (J. Maund), resulting in MYSTERIA (B. Claridge) being
tightened onto SIMULATE (W. Kerford), resulting in that mare being inconvenienced. In the vicinity of the 800 metres KOODA
TIARA (J. Lorensini), while being steadied, was obliged to ease to avoid the heels of
BRIANNA BLONDIE (S. Price), which shifted in. In consequence VELVET LAKE (M. Neilson) was

(Darren Holland), which was inclined to lay out, shifted out and continued to hang out
throughout the event. In shifting out HOT LINE (D. Azis) was
obliged to race wide on the track. Near the 800 metres MIGHTY ATILLA (Darren
Holland) was obliged to steady to avoid the heels of HOT LINE (D. Azis), which shifted in.
While being steadied MIGHTY ATILLA got its head up and commenced to hang out. D. Azis was severely reprimanded and
advised in future to shift ground only when entitled to do so. Approaching the 200 metres QUEEN MILENA (J.
Holder) rolled out under pressure and inconvenienced FRENCH REVOLUTION (W. Kerford). Mr. G. Lesnikowski, Trainer of MIGTY
ATILLA, was advised the gelding was now suspended from racing, until such time as it can
trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an Official Trial, around a turn, prior to
accepting for a future event. Subsequent to the race MIGHTY ATILLA was
inspected by the Clubs Veterinary Surgeon who reported no visible abnormalities. RACE 8 GOODMAN FIELDER CLASS 4
HANDICAP: D. Carney was notified as the rider of MADE
FOR REAL. CHALTOM (M. Neilson) jumped away awkwardly. MADE FOR REAL (D. Carney) was slow to jump. In the vicinity of the 300 metres
JEZARICH (S. Price) was disappointed when attempting a tight run between DONEGAL BOY (C.
Buchiw) which rolled in under pressure, and FLAME BIRD (H. McKechnie), which rolled out. CHALTOM lost its near fore plate during the
event. RACE 9 PILOT / CAPITAL PTL
THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE (2nd Division): DING DOR (C. Buchiw) shifted out on
jumping away, resulting in KOODA SHINE (D. Carney) being taken out, tightening BURRAN (G.
Dorol) onto SYMPOSIA (W. Kerford), which was taken out onto SMEE SISTER (S. Price),
resulting in SYMPOSIA and SMEE SISTER being hampered. Approaching the finish SYMPOSIA (W.
Kerford) was tightened and lost its position as a result of HER HONOR (D. Tootell) laying
in under pressure, at the same time as SHARE THE WINE (B. Vale) was inclined to shift out
and away from DING DOR (C. Buchiw). On return to Scale B. Vale, rider of 4th
Placegetter SHARE THE WINE, requested to view the official footage of the finish. After
doing so, B. Vale declined the option to lodge an objection and Correct Weight was duly
notified. J. Lorensini, rider of LANDDROST, when
questioned, advised that he had been instructed to attempt to allow the gelding to become
balanced and if possible to race forward in the event. He stated that from his outside
barrier, he had been obliged to race three wide, approaching the turn off the back
straight, and had assessed that he had no other options. With a view to attempting to see
if he could go forward and race closer to the fence, he had allowed LANDDROST to stride
forward near the 800 metres, however without placing his mount under undue pressure, he
could not cross the two runners on his inside. J. Lorensini advised that he was then
obliged to ride LANDDROST quietly until approaching the 400 metres, where he had placed
his mount under pressure and it had briefly responded. He added that he continued to
pressure the gelding, but was of the opinion that it had only plugged to the finish. J.
Lorensini was advised that his explanations would be noted. Subsequent to the race LANDDROST was
inspected by the Clubs Veterinary Surgeon, who reported no visible abnormalities. SWABBING: Race 6 KOODA TIARA (3rd Placegetter) Race 8 JEZARICH (2nd
