        Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate - 1100 metres  After leaving the mounting yard M.Pegus, rider of Blalocks
        Rose, was dislodged and the filly cantered a short distance before being returned to the
        barrier. Blalocks Rose was examined by the club's veterinary surgeon and passed fit to
        run. Blalocks Rose also had to be re-saddled which resulted in the start of the race being
        delayed.  Shortly after the start No Curfew and Sir Broderick were
        hampered and became unbalanced for some distance due to Paleface Ben shifting in away from
        Trephine.  Rounding the home turn Trephine hung out and took Out
        Looking out off its course.  Near the 100 metres Trisept had to be checked when
        tightened for room by Blalocks Rose (M. Pegus) which shifted in under pressure. M. Pegus
        was severely reprimanded and notified that he must straighten his mounts far sooner than
        he did on this occasion    Race 2 - Tooheys New Maiden Plate - 1600 metres
         No report.     Race 3 -104.9 Star FM Maiden Plate - 1200 metres
         Pro Vanity was slow to begin  Near the 900 metres Mr. Hotshot shifted in and brushed Opie
        James which was over racing and shifted in and tightened Lilantrace which then clipped
        that gelding's heels when being checked. Deltic Park which was following was hampered in
        consequence. Shortly after this incident Our Toy when being eased off the heels of Mr.
        Hotshot shifted out slightly resulting in Pro Vanity having to be checked between that
        mare and Aspiring Place (M. Heagney) which shifted in. M. Heagney was notified that he
        must keep his mounts straight in similar circumstances.    Race 4 -Wodonga Switchboard Manufacturers Class 2
        Handicap - 1200 metres  On jumping away Hurricane Knight  was hampered and
        threw its head in the air on two occasions when tightened for room between Troublous and
        Instincts due to both those horses shifting ground.    Race 5 -Birallee Tavern Bob Stewart Memorial
        Handicap - 1200 metres  Born To Dance jumped away awkwardly.  Race 6 -Clipsal Class 4 Handicap - 1400 metres
         On jumping away No Smog knuckled and almost dislodged M.
        Pumpa, the gelding's rider. No Smog then shifted out and bumped Jonafred which was
        severely hampered.  Near the 900 metres Renozan had to be checked when
        tightened for room by Morning Symphony which was initially taken in by Great Relief (E.
        Marchant) and then shifted away further. E. Marchant was severely reprimanded and notified
        that he must ensure that he is sufficiently clear of other runners when shifting ground in
        future.   Race 7 -Slickpix Class 3 Handicap - 2050 metres
         After passing the winning post the first time Allez Fraar
        had to be restrained off the heels of Nasqueyo which shifted in. Shortly after this On The
        Menu which was over racing had to be restrained off the heels of Allez Fraar.  Near the 800 metres King Zoffany was hampered when
        tightened for room by Scarpia which shifted out slightly and On The Menu which was laying
        in.  In the straight L. Currie, rider of Monza Mika, lost the
        use of his off side iron.  In the straight On The Menu ( G Evagora) laid in under
        pressure and over the concluding stages shifted in towards the running rail  when
        under pressure and hampered Scarpia.When shifting in G. Evagora stopped riding and
        straightened his mount to avoid greater inteference to Scarpia.  Race 8 -Win Television Class 1 Handicap - 1400
        metres  Oil Can Harry was slow to begin.  In the early part of the straight Oil Can Harry was held up
        for a clear run.    SWAB SAMPLES -   Race 1 - No Curfew - routine swab sample - winner  Race 3 - Mr. Hotshot - routine swab sample - winner  Race 6 - Bush Beauty - routine swab sample - winner  Race 7 - Monza Mika - routine swab sample - winner FINES & EXPLANATIONS  Race 5 - J. D'Arcy, rider of Sunlit Plains, was severely
        reprimanded for his use of the whip on the mare.  Race 8 - Ms E. Fox was severely reprimanded for having
        accepted 2 rides in the one race on Nasverton and Poetic Habit..  |
