Race 1 - Win Television Super Vobis Two-Years- Old Handicap - 1200 metres

Dalexpress jumped away awkwardly shifted out and hampered Daldur.

In the early stages of the race Dalexpress which was racing greenly was reluctant to hold its position when racing on the inside of Daldur.

Approaching the home turn Sir Weather Vain was held up for a run and in the straight Sir Weather Vain raced greenly.

Race 2 - B104.9FM Maiden Plate - 1600 metres

Toylina jumped away awkwardly which resulted in J.Anstice the rider of the mare becoming unbalanced..

In the early stages of the race Sideshow Allie over raced.

Race 3 - Rafferty's Catering Class 1 Handicap - 1600 metres

Race 4 -Toohey's New Maiden Plate - 1200 metres

On jumping away Mr. Silverspoon shifted out and tightened Theresa's Courage out onto Leneva which resulted in Theresa's Courage and Leneva being hampered..

Acting on a report from the starter that Leneva had been difficult to load into the barrier stalls stewards notified C. Matthews, trainer of the filly that an official warning would be placed against Leneva and should the filly behave in a similar manner in future it may lead to some action being taken. C. Matthews was further notified that before the filly be permitted to start again he must be in a receipt of a Barrier Certificate in respect of the filly.

Approaching the 1000 metres Rare Dream was tightened for room by Mr. Silverspoon which was taken in by County Bridge who was in turn taken in by Neat Try. Shortly after this Theresa's Courage which had a tendency to lay out had to be eased when tightened for room behind Taylor Made and Bon Courant which was taken in slightly by Lone Flyer.

After passing the 400 metres Ruins had to be eased off the heels of Lone Flyer. Shortly after this Ruins had to be eased when tightened for room between Lone Flyer and Leneva which when racing greenly shifted out and away from Avenire.

Race 5 - Wodonga Smash Repairs Handicap - 1100 metres

Rounding the home corner Mighty Amber was held up for a run.

Approaching the 200 metres Mighty Amber was tightened for room between Fingah which shifted out and Bonnie Prince which shifted in slightly.

Race 6 - Cameron's Wholesale Foods Class 4 Handicap - 2050 metres

Mick Johnstone, rider of Acumen's Pride, which had performed below expectations stated to the stewards that the gelding travelled well in the early stages of the race but when the pace quickened after passing the 700 metres Acumen's Pride could not improve its position. A veterinary examination of Acumen's Pride subsequent to the event revealed no abnormality.

Race 7 - North East Forklifts Class 3 Handicap - 1400 metres

On arrival at the course Lady Babushka was examined by the club's veterinary surgeon who reported that the mare was lame in thee near fore leg. Acting on this advice stewards withdrew Lady Babushka at 3.10pm. Brian Cox, trainer of Lady Babushka, will submit a veterinary certificate to the club in respect of the mare.

Prior to the race Brian Cox, trainer of Pat And Pay (winner) submitted a stable return showing Mr M. Hough as the owner of the gelding.

Approaching the winning post Nasqueyo had to be eased to avoid the heels of Skye Glen which shifted in slightly.

J. Anstice, rider of Mr. Hotshot, was notified that he must ride his mounts out hands and heels to the end of the race.

Race 8 - Wodonga Smash Repairs Class 1 Handicap - 1100 metres

On jumping away Dealer's Edge shifted in and hampered Sambur Prince.

In the early stages of the race Sambur Prince over raced.

Approaching the 900 metres Dealer's Edge shifted out and brushed New Gality.

Rounding the home corner Tawny Pulse and Sambur Prince had some difficulty in obtaining a clear run.
