 Race 1 - The Clerks of
        the Course Restricted Trophy Race (2) Handicap 1000m  "Flipper Vargen" was slow to begin.  Race 2 - The Barrier Attendents Open Trophy Race
        Handicap 1000m  When parading in the mounting yard prior to the race,
        "Dr Buzz (NZ)" was kicked by another runner. "Dr Buzz" was examined by
        the clubs veterinary surgeon and passed fit to run. "Better Be Ready" was slow to begin. Approaching the 800m "Dr Buzz" had to be checked
        when tightened for room by "Amani" which was taken in by "Brother
        Durham" (A Bodey) which shifted in. A Bodey was reprimanded and notified to exercise
        more care when shifting ground in future.  Prior to correct weight D Waymouth, rider of
        "Serengetti Blaze", fourth placegetter viewed the stewards patrol video and
        decided not to lodge an objection. It was established that shortly after the start
        "Serengetti Blaze" and "Pathor" were hampered slightly when racing
        tight inside "Brother Durham". Race 3 - Ducksies Open Trophy Race 1700m  No report.  Race 4 - The Gate Keepers Restricted Trophy Race
        (3) Handicap 1600m  Ms R Orrlov, rider of "Connemara Marble" which
        performed poorly stated to the stewards that the gelding was a beaten horse at the 800m
        and in her opinion on pulling up, "Connemara Marble" was distressed. A
        veterinary examination of "Connemara Marble" failed to reveal any abnormalities.
         Race 5 - Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm Maiden
        Handicap 1500m  Passing the 900m "Weazel Pop" became unbalanced
        and had to be checked when attempting a narrow run on the inside of "Scratch 'n'
        Win" which shifted in slightly. Rounding the home turn "Kelly's Lad" had to be
        eased to avoid the heels of "Somebody's Lyin'" which was weakening.  Race 6 - The Last Race of the Season Open Trophy
        Race Handicap 1500m  On jumping away "Tiangar Bay" knuckled. M Tabone,
        rider of "Atomic Lady" which performed poorly stated to the stewards that the
        mare failed to respond to his riding from the 700m and that "Atomic Lady" may
        have jarred up due to the firmness of the track today. A veterinary examination of
        "Atomic Lady" revealed that the mare had suffered a wound to its near foreleg.  SWAB SAMPLES -  Race 2 - Prospector's CaratRace 5 - Just Bazza
