Time Signal, D. McLellan stated that the gelding travelled well in the run, however, when

checked and lose its rightful running. P. Ferris' licence to ride in races was suspended
for a period to commence on Sunday 14/4/02 and to expire on Thursday 25/4/02 on which day

With Panache learning to settle. He stated that shortly after the start he was crowded
badly by Sweet Air, which shifted in, and as a result With Panache then overraced. He
stated that it was not until the 600m that With Panache commenced to race truly, however,
rounding the home turn the mare commenced to hang out badly and near the 200m he was
obliged to check off the heels of Sky Can Hurri and Sweet Air. He stated further that once
he shifted to the inside of Sweet Air, although he had clear running to the line, With
Panache continued to hang out badly and he was unable to ride the mare out in his normal
manner. A post-race veterinary examination of With Panache revealed no abnormality. S.

heels of Above All. Cups Quest and Fire Wood, which were following, were hampered in
consequence. When questioned L. Beasley could offer no explanation for the poor
performance of Cups Quest. He stated that after receiving the interference at the 1200m
Cups Quest was under pressure and a beaten horse a long way from home. A post-race

under pressure in the straight and near the 100m bumped St. Xavier. Dance To Budapest was
unable to obtain clear running in the straight and consequently was unable to be tested.
What A Bottler was unable to obtain clear running until inside the 50m. When questioned
regarding Gentle Tom racing more forward today, Ms L. Olsen stated that it was not the
intention of the stable to lead, however, after beginning well from the wide barrier,
